Vienna's famous Belvedere is both an important historical site and the most visited art museum in Austria. It houses the world's largest collection of Klimt's works - including his world-famous "The Kiss"! In this quest, you'll get up close and personal with the palace's permanent exhibition and its two dominant themes: love and war.
Keep in mind that the Belvedere is made up of two palaces: an upper and a lower. This quest takes place in the Upper Belvedere (Oberes Belvedere) - so be sure to find the right one.
The museum is open daily from 9:00 to 18:00, and until 21:00 on Fridays. Tickets can be purchased on the museum website: https://www.belvedere.at/tickets.
Our adventure begins at the palace gates.
